Women | Home action on Sunday - show your support

The Gloucester City AFC Women’s first team play their first home game of the Shield Services Group South West Regional Women’s League Premier Division season here at the KMM Energy Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Newly-promoted Yeovil Town provide the opposition as we look to build upon our 1-1 opening day draw at Sherborne Town Ladies last weekend.

Kick-off is 2pm with admission £5 for adults and free for children and 2026/27 City season-ticket holders.

As usual, the bar and Mikes food outlet will be open for what promises to be an entertaining afternoon for all of the family as we get a first look at our new-look side on home territory.

Did you know that each edition of our men’s Matchday Programme carries four pages of coverage of City Women’s and Girls football thanks to the efforts of Samantha Belcher?

As a new initiative, we will be offering Matchday Programmes on the gate at a reduced price (subject to availability). In addition, we intend to print team-sheets, initially for the Women’s first team home matches. These will be priced at 50p, beginning at Sunday’s game.

Your support at our Women’s matches this season would be much appreciated as we look to continue making positive forward strides.

Pictured we see the celebrations after Cerys Jones put us ahead in our last game with her first goal for the club. Sadly, our lead was to be short-lived as our hosts levelled matters soon afterwards to claim a share of the spoils.
