Preview | Home action after miles on the road
City return to home action on Saturday as we welcome Berkhamsted to the KMM Energy Stadium (kick-off 3pm).
We take on opponents who have won five and lost six of their opening 13 League encounters to sit in the middle of the early table.
For City, it’s been a month of travel as we have clocked up the miles.
“It feels like we’ve been to all corners of the country,” said manager, Daf Williams. “Our results return has been positive over the course of October, however we were disappointed to miss out on a deserved result against Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday night.
“I’d like to send our sincere thanks and gratitude to those that have travelled with us over the month and covered a lot of miles. It doesn’t go unnoticed the commitment you put in, and the money that you spend following us on these long away days. Thank you one and all.
“With your continued support I believe we will turn around our fortunes in the league. Being completely transparent I’ve had enough of opposing teams and managers giving us high praise for our performances and how misleading our position in the league is.
“That might be the case, but it’s a results business and it’s time produce results over performances. As always, stick with us and keep getting behind these players.”
Join us at the KMM Energy Stadium on Saturday and let’s create a winning atmosphere.
