Gloucester City are delighted to announce that Kennedy Digie has joined the club on a one-year deal, becoming City’s first new signing of the summer.
The centre-back spent the second-half of last season on loan at fellow National League North side Farsley Celtic, making 17 appearances and scoring once for The Celt Army.
The 25-year-old also played ten times for National League outfit Altrincham last campaign, having begun his career with Kidderminster Harriers and also having spells with Guiseley and Hereford.
A strong and powerful defender, who’s also very comfortable on the ball.
City manager, Lee Mansell, added:
“Kennedy is a player we were monitoring last season when he was at Farsley. He‘s an aggressive, athletic defender who can also play with the ball. He’s a good age and he’s relatively local, with the attributes he’s got he’ll be a very good player for us”
