Gloucester City face Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough tomorrow in what manager Lee Mansell describes as a must win game.
Despite Matt Green’s debut goal City have lost their last three league matches with manager Mansell looking to see a response and more of the character shown after Green’s debut goal where City were pressuring well for an equaliser.
Our hosts Kidderminster Harriers come into this game preparing for their big FA Cup fixture against West Ham United on Saturday 5th February at Aggborough. They’re currently looking to make it three wins on the spin on Saturday after two wins in the space of three days against York City and Kettering Town.
Harriers will be looking to preserve their unbeaten run in their last eight home games going into their tie against Premier League opposition and giving them confidence going into the FA Cup tie to make it difficult for West Ham to progress.
A win for City would take them up to 22 points giving them breathing space between Farsley Celtic, one place below, assuming results go our way. A win for Kidderminster would take them up to 46 points and in contention for automatic promotion with Brackley Town and Gateshead.
