Preview: Fylde (h)

Gloucester City will welcome third placed AFC Fylde on Saturday as they look to continue their good form.

With just one defeat in eight, City will be aiming to add to Tuesday night's point after an intense injury time equaliser against Chester. Matt McClure heading in the goal which saw City come back from 3-1 down to earn a point.

Defender Jack James will be looking to make a positive impact once again after coming on for his first team appearance in seven months against Chester.

After the last game manager Lee Mansell praised the supporters and the atmosphere, “When we got the score back to 3-2, the noise levels started to come up again. Our energy levels then started to pick up and the supporters picked up on that. On the third goal, they got us that one. They sucked the ball into the back of the net for us.”

City will be hoping the atmosphere will be buzzing on non-league day with the return of former boss James Rowe who manages the visitors.
