Preview | City look to end regular season on a high

The curtain comes down on the regular season on Saturday as City play host to Walton & Hersham (kick-off 3pm).

We will be looking to take a victory into the play-offs as we take on the League Champions.

“Like every season, this campaign has been full of ups and downs,” said manager, Daf Williams. “The ups have certainly outweighed the downs and there have been some real highlights and positives to take forward.

“Reflecting on the season as a whole, we wanted to implement an attacking brand of football, which on the whole I’m confident we have delivered.

“Of course, there is plenty room for improvement, but we go into these final games full of belief and determination to face the challenges head-on.”

Williams is also full of praise for the City fans.

“We are so grateful for the continued backing that the supporters give us, both home and away,” he said. “I would love nothing more than bringing success to this football club, to you loyal supporters, hard-working volunteers, and a fantastic chairman who deserves an incredible amount of credit for what he continues to do for this football club.

“We will do everything to the best of our ability to deliver and get this club to where it wants to be.”
