It’s a busy Bank Holiday weekend ahead for City.

On Saturday we head down to Westleigh Park to take on a Havant & Waterlooville outfit who have started the season with one win and three defeats from their opening four League games.

We then return to home action on Bank Holiday Monday as Evesham United are our visitors.

“Having secured our first win of the season last weekend, our focus quickly turned to the Bank Holiday weekend,” admitted manager, Daf Williams. “We’ve prepared well this week for what will be a busy and demanding weekend as we face two tough tests.

“Havant & Waterlooville are a top side who I expect to start climbing the table, whilst Evesham United are always a hard-working and well-organised outfit under the guidance of Mike Ford and we are expecting no different on Monday.

“We’ll have to be at our best on both occasions and hopefully we can build upon the winning result against Hanwell Town, which was well-deserved.

“This weekend we hope to be able to welcome back James Waite and Jack Clarke, which are huge additions to our options. They are both really important players for us and it’s great to have them back.

“I’d also like to send huge congratulations to Harry Emmett and Jared Thompson for reaching 100 club appearances recently; it’s a fantastic achievement for both players.

“Thank you for the fantastic support that we received at our last game, it certainly helped to drive us on and more of the same will be needed over this Bank Holiday weekend.”
