Foundation | Successful event as part of English Heritage Open Weekend

 The Gloucester City AFC Foundation hosted a free kids football session at Llanthony Secunda Priory on Saturday morning as part of the English Heritage open weekend.

Trust Chairman, Robin Mogg, is a volunteer at the historic site, which was built in 1136 and invited the Foundation along as well as putting on a GCAFC History display inside.

“The session was a great success,” said a spokesperson for the GCAFC Foundation. “We were delighted with the turn-out and it was great to have appearances from club mascot, Roary, along with manager, Daf Williams, and Joe Hanks, which went down well with the attendees and the Priory.

“Thank you to everyone who played their part, your support is much appreciated,”
