Gloucester City are pleased to announce the signing of Solihull Moors central defender Jordan Piggott on loan until the 5th of January.
The former West Bromwich Albion youngster has spent time in Scotland, signing for Scottish Premiership side Dundee FC, before switching to East Fife on loan.
After his stint in Scotland, he moved to Welsh Second Division side Bangor City, before moving back to the English system, playing for Alvechurch and Halesowen Town. Piggott was part of the Halesowen team who made the semi-final of the FA Trophy in 2020, prior to the early ending of the season.
Piggott, 22, then joined Solihull, making 18 appearances last season.
Manager Paul Groves has said of his new man, “Jordan is a young player that we’ve been watching for a while now. He joins us with good pedigree, having had experience at a higher level and in the Scottish Premiership, and he will compliment the squad that we already have here. He’s not afraid to get stuck in and he’ll be fighting for a starting place from the get-go.”
How did it go, by the way? When I was in Singapore last year, the rentals were a disaster. All the landlord with the help of real estate companies demanded a two-month deposit well in advance. That felt really unfair. I ended up staying in a hotel, but this year my stay will be longer, six months. So I found real estate rent options that have no such disastrous terms. Will check it out. Let me know if you want me to get back and tell you how it went.
