King Baidoo returns to City!

Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce the signing of forward King Baidoo after a successful trial period at the club.

King has spent the past few weeks training with the squad and featured in several of our pre-season fixtures, where he consistently impressed with his performances and we’re delighted to now have him on board for the upcoming season.

Baidoo, 24, spent some time at the club at the beginning of last season before moving to Yate Town for the remainder, in which he assisted the Bluebells in gaining a promotion into the Southern League Premier South.

The forward said: “I’m excited to be back. The opportunity to play under the new management team appealed to me and I believe we’re going to have an exciting season!"

Manager Daf Williams said: "King is someone that’s been on our radar throughout the off season simply because of the attributes he possesses. They lend themselves to what we want in a striker and compliment other players and profiles we’ve got in the squad, so I’m really pleased. Circumstances last season meant that it didn’t quite work out for him here, however I’m confident we will see a difference this year."
