Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce that the club have partnered up with Gloucester based sports performance gym, Titan Performance.
Located in Kingsholm, Titan Performance Gloucester is a sporting facility that has been nominated for awards at the highest level, with cutting edge equipment, world class trainers and coaches and an in-house sports therapy and injury clinic.
"Here at Titan Performance we massively believe in the fact that everyone should have access to a world class facility and everything that comes with it," said Ben Caton, Managing Director of Titan Performance Gyms.
"The relationship with Gloucester City AFC is going to be massive. What we're looking to do is provide improved and market leading pitch-side physio services, a therapy clinic, we've got a satellite centre now at the club.
"Also, in terms of access, the guys can train here (Titan), come in in their own time, they can work on their prehab and rehab, but also they've got access to chiropractic services, laser treatment, sports therapy and massage, and world class trainers and strength and conditioning coaches that can help take them through things."
Gloucester City AFC have linked up with Titan Performance to revolutionise the way the club approaches sports science, therapy, and player after care/recovery.
Jordan Barnes has joined the club as head sports therapist as part of the move with Titan Performance, with Jordan providing pitch-side physiotherapy, day-to-day taping and injury triage at the club.
"Simply put, Titan are the best in the area," said Jay Marriott, CEO of Gloucester Sport.
"The relationship that we have is key, it's not just about having the expertise, it's the relationship - communication is really important.
"We've got to start looking at growth points and this is one of them. Bringing the level of our aftercare up is going to help Steven in his recruitment.
"If people know they can come in here and be taken care of, with their bodies being looked after in a professional manner, then that's going to speak for itself."
