City return to the battle for Southern League Premier South points on Tuesday evening as we play host to Plymouth Parkway (kick-off 7.45pm).

We face high-flying opponents who arrive at the KMM Energy Stadium sitting on top of the early table with six wins and just one defeat from their eight games so far.

Whilst our opponents were exiting the FA Trophy on Saturday, we were making progress with a much-needed commanding performance and victory over in-form Stafford Rangers.

“Our second home game in a matter of days is a tough one,” admitted manager, Daf Williams. “We face strong and hard-working opponents; they are a strong outfit this season and it’s no surprise to see them doing so well and leading the way.

“They’re a well-coached and organised side, and this is a challenge we’re all looking forward to as a group.

“It’s certainly a case of actions speak louder than words for us now, as we must transfer the fantastic performances and results we have put together in cup games, into the league.

“The last ten games in all competitions has seen us go unbeaten in eight of which we had 11 men, the two disappointing defeats have come with ten men, however seem to have masked and overshadowed some of the positivity that we have had as a group.

“That’s not to say the league position we find ourselves in is acceptable, but as a group we have the belief required in us being able to turn our form around.”
