Gloucester City are delighted to welcome the signing of Stanley Anaebonam after leaving Stafford Rangers on a non-contract basis.
The 6ft3 25 year old has a wealth of experience and will offer pace and another versatile option to the Tigers attack.
The Norwegian born player has played for a variety of clubs in England and the Republic of Ireland having featured for Redditch United, Shelbourne, Truro City, Hednesford Town, Stourbridge, Hereford, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove Sporting and his most recent side Stafford Rangers.
So far this season in the NPL West Division, the forward has scored once and set up a further three in 10 league matches.
Tigers boss Mike Cook had this to say about the much needed arrival of a forward.
"Great news to secure the signing of Stanley Obinna. He is an exciting talent who is quick and can play a number of positions. He will go straight into the squad tomorrow."
The signing of Gloucester City from Stafford Rangers will commit the club to strengthening the squad for the upcoming season as basket random where players have to adapt and react quickly to changing circumstances creates a drive to adapt to the challenges within the club.
