Sarah Gordon-Jones to join City's board

Gloucester City Football Club is delighted to announce Sarah Gordon-Jones will be joining the board for the 2024/25 season. The board have been active in their search to strengthen and expand it's knowledge and experience to benefit the short and long term goals for the club.
Chairman, Colin Taylor had this to say:
"We have had extensive meetings with Sarah and each time we have been impressed with Sarah's drive for seeing this club reach its potential. We see Sarah as being integral to us building a successful and sustainable model that can see us achieve our goals. With the growth of our women's game taking another huge step this season, Sarah is passionate about providing her knowledge and expertise to the cause. We hope you all give her a huge City welcome."
With over 25 years in the live sport television industry, Sarah began her professional career at ISL Television travelling the world working with global broadcasters on the international coverage of live sporting events including World Cups (1998,2002,2006), European Championships (2000, 2004), Wimbledon, the Grand National, Cheltenham Festival, Gold Cup, Le Mans 24 hours, European Tour, ATP Tennis Masters Series, FINA Swimming.
Sarah has worked closely with UK and global broadcasters including BBC, ITV Sport, BSKYB, BT, Channel 4, Yahoo and Amazon as well as global federations including the the FA, EFL, IAAF, FINA and FIVB.
Sarah has worked with major clients including over fifteen seasons with the Premier League where she led the growth of the department. As Head of Production Sarah led of the commercial operation and strategy for the business and was key in creating and launching the 24-hour global television channel for the Premier League.
Sarah has an Emmy award for her work with Premier League rights holder NBC America and enjoyed having input to some key changes to the Premier League rule book relating to the international rights holder's onsite facilities.
Sarah works with Women in Football on their events and leadership programmes and is excited about the recent growth of the women’s game.
Sarah’s key strengths are building strong collaborative teams and future leaders, focusing on company strategy and commercial opportunities for growth.
Sarah has three young children, created her own gin brand Tivoli’s Gin and also works as a psychodynamic therapist and is passionate about equity and assisting the growth of organisations.
