Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder and former City player Liam Cross on a permanent deal.
Cross since departing the club at the end of last season to return to parent club Brackley Town, has gone on to sign for Southern League Premier Central side St Ives Town, making twenty appearances this season.
The midfielder started his career at Northampton Town as a youth player making several loan moves to clubs including St Ives Town, Leamington and Tamworth. In the summer of 2023, Brackley Town brought the teenager at the time into their club on a permanent deal before sending him out on loan to ourselves and Needham Market.
This will be the 22-year-old's third tenure at the club, his first being in the 2023-24 season in the National League North and the second being the back end of the 2024-25 Southern League Premier South season.
"I am delighted to have signed Liam on a permanent deal," said City manager, Daf Williams.
"He’s a player that was on my radar in the summer and for different reasons it wasn’t the right time to pursue. However, Liam’s qualities are more suited to what we’re looking to do moving forward and he will be a great addition to the group."
"He’s familiar with some of the lads and the football club, and will settle in quickly I’m sure."
We welcome Liam to the KMM Energy Stadium.

I liked the useful points shared in this article. Playing Slope 2 showed me how simple controls can still create a hard challenge. The road has different turns and risky sections that need attention. Staying focused for a longer run becomes important because one wrong move can quickly end the game.
It’s always nice to see a player return when both the club and manager clearly believe he fits the long-term plans. Liam Cross already knowing the squad should help him settle quickly, and unwordle somehow popped into my head while reading this.
Hello from the UK forums, I first heard about different gaming platforms during a lunch break in Manchester when colleagues were casually talking about what they had tried online. I wasn’t particularly interested at first, but later I decided to take a closer look myself. That is when I opened nyspins to evaluate its structure. I spent time moving through menus and checking whether pages felt consistent. Everything seemed quite stable, and I didn’t run into confusion while browsing. After a short session I closed it with a neutral impression, mainly focusing on usability and clarity from a UK user perspective.

Just read about Liam Cross signing permanently, and as a City fan who’s watched him play before, I’m really excited to see him back in action. He’s got that energy in midfield that can really turn a game around, almost like a “1v1 lol” moment where he just takes over and makes things happen. Can’t wait to see him settle in at KMM Energy Stadium this season!
