Gloucester City ran out 3-1 winners against Tiverton Town in the Tigers’ first Friday night home match in 25 years.

City opened the scoring on seven minutes, with debutant Curtis Jemmett-Hutson heading home off the post.

Tiverton almost hit back instantly through ex-City man Joe Parker, but his effort crashed off the bar.

However Parker did get his goal in the 25th minute, with a brilliant curling effort into the top right, giving Luke Bell no chance in the City goal.

Into the second half, and City sparked into life 10 minutes in, with two goals in quick succession from Ed Williams and Brandon Smalley.

3-1 was how it ended, and City pick up a much-needed three points in front of a season high 1,809 fans.

City return home next week to play fellow play-off contenders Dorchester Town on Saturday, April 5.

Great match report! I love how you highlighted key moments like Jemmett-Hutson's debut goal. Speaking of highlights, I use the lingojam bold text generator to make important words stand out in my social media posts about games.
