Gloucester City are happy to announce that City academy player, Roberto Di Segni, has signed for the club for the 2021/22 season.
Roberto becomes the latest player to have made the transition from the successful club academy into the first team.
Paul Groves, City manager, was happy to have added Di Segni to the list of players at the club.
“When I first joined the club, one of my aims was to increase the number of local players in the squad due to the affinity that they have with the supporters. Roberto ticks this, but he also brings some real quality," said Groves.
Groves added, “he was a real star for the club at youth level, and he’s continued to show his talents since. He’s been forming a good understanding with the rest of the defence, with what we want him to do and I’m pleased to bring him back for the coming season.”
Roberto will wear number 24.
