Charity Partnership for Legends Game

Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce we have partnered with Gloucestershire's leading children's charity the Pied Piper Appeal ahead of our upcoming “Clash of the County” event at the TigerTurf Stadium.

Jay Marriott, CEO of Gloucester City AFC had this to say:

“Over the past 18 months we have worked closely with the Pied Pier Appeal and would like to again confirm our commitment through December to supporting them.
The Clash of the County will be the first of many dates where we will be offering to be a toy drop station for both new and used toys, which then will be donated to various children around the county.
We will also be raising money at the game for Emily’s Gift, a campaign to find finance to hire specialists at the Emily Kent Unit - a children's oncology unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Special thanks to Julie Kent and the friendship we have built during this time which will hopefully lead on to many successful initiatives."

Doors open from 6pm on Friday, December 2 at the TigerTurf Stadium for "Clash of the County" - a legends football match where past heroes of Gloucester City, Cheltenham Town and Forest Green Rovers will battle it out in a round-robin style football tournament.

Tickets are available for the tournament here, with adults paying just £5 for entry and £1 for U16's.

We're hoping fans of all three clubs get behind what will be a fantastic event, which is supporting a fantastic charity also.
