Captains named for upcoming season

We are pleased to announce our captains for the upcoming season.
Daf Williams has named Keiran Thomas as team captain and Joe Hanks as club captain.
Williams has this to say on the appointments:
“When considering a team and club captain you want individuals who’s standards and values align with yours. With Keiran and Hanksy that is certainly the case. They are also extremely proud to represent this football club, the badge, it’s colours and the supporters, which is so important. Both are a true representation of our loyal fan base which I love, and I’m delighted to announce Keiran Thomas as team captain, and Joe Hanks as club captain for the upcoming season.”
Thomas on becoming team captain:
“It’s an honour to be named captain of Gloucester City and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead. I can’t wait to see all the fans showing their brilliant support on Saturday and throughout the season aswell.”
Hanks on remaining as club captain:
“Delighted to be named club captain. I really appreciate being selected by the management for the role and it is something I look forward to continuing. I love playing for Gloucester City and will give my all to be successful this season. Really looking forward to the season starting this weekend and I can’t wait to see all the fans supporting us. Hanksy.”
