Top of the Hill

Academy product Jack Hill made his Gloucester City league debut this past weekend having been at the club since he was 13.

Hill, who came off the bench on the 83rd minute to make his league debut alongside fellow young gun Joe Jeremiah who had done similar the week before, describes the moment...

"Football has always been my passion," reflected Jack.

"I started at Gloucester City aged 13 and have been involved with the youth set-up for five years."

"I got my first team call-up on the 9th October where I benched against Bradford. I made my cup debut on 18th December against Wrexham where I came on at half time at right-back."

"The Wrexham game was a good challenge for me as it was my first look into men's football. I've been focused since then and keen to take the opportunities when they come my way."

"This past weekend was special as it was my league debut for the club and although we lost the match, I wanted to give my all. I love this club and want it to succeed. "

City are in action this weekend away at Farsley Celtic before entertaining Darlington on 19 Feb - tickets are available here.
