City return to home action on Saturday as we take on Uxbridge (kick-off 3pm).
Manager, Daf Williams, is looking for a response from his team following a poor display in our last outing at Berkhamsted.
“It was probably one of the worst days under my tenure last weekend,” he admitted. “Not much went our way on the day as we put in a disappointing performance, matched with a disappointing result.
“However, we mustn’t forget the fantastic run that these lads have put together of late and everything this week has been geared towards continuing with that positive attitude and putting the wrongs of last weekend right, in order to give ourselves the best chance of producing a good performance and result against a strong side.
“It’s been a great week on the squad front as we have welcomed back Ed Williams and Daniel Leadbitter to full training. Both will be like new signings on and off the pitch as we enter a really important period of the season. Keiran Phillips is also nearing a return and will be back in training next week. “
Uxbridge arrive at The KMM Energy Stadium in tenth position following a solid first season at this level.
They are unbeaten in their last four games, three of which have ended in commanding victories prior to last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Evesham United.
