City make the short trip to Malvern Town this evening as we return to the battle for League points.

We go into the game with the glow of a richly-deserved 2-0 away win at AFC Totton in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, a game which saw Joe Hanks weigh in with both goals.

“It was our most complete performance of the season so far,” said Hanks. “Right from the start there was a really positive feeling and the togetherness was there throughout the whole day.

“We all know that it’s been a tough start to the season where things haven’t quite gone the way we wanted them to, but we know what we’re capable of.

“We’ve got a good group here and with the fans behind us, there’s no reason why we can’t start moving forward towards where we want to be.

“Every game is tough and this evening our focus will be on being able to kick-start our League campaign and pushing on up the table.

“If we perform as we did at the weekend, we’ll give ourselves every chance of being able to do that tonight.

“We’re working hard and we will get it right, so let’s stay positive and get ourselves into a run of form.”

It promises to be an action-packed local derby this evening. Doors open from 6.30pm at the HDA Community Stadium and kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Hot and cold food and drink will be on sale plus a printed Matchday Programme.
