City get the Easter weekend underway on Good Friday as we head to Hanwell Town (kick-off 3pm).

Our hosts sit in the middle of the table having a played out a goalless draw with Sholing on Tuesday evening following a 2-0 reverse at Yate Town last weekend.

For City, our 3-0 victory over in-form Plymouth Parkway made it two wins in a row, during which we have scored nine without conceding.

“We have five games to go, with two of them taking place over this weekend, so we need one big, final push from everyone,” said manager, Daf Williams. “This is always a crucial weekend of the season, so let’s give it everything we’ve got.

“My message is clear; get yourselves to Hanwell on Friday and then let’s pack the KMM Energy Stadium for Monday’s home game against Taunton Town.

“We need plenty of noise and that ‘all in’ mentality where everyone is pulling in the same direction.

“Our aim for the remaining games of the season is to build as much momentum as possible in the hope that we firstly secure a play-off spot, and if so we enter the play-offs in positive frame of mind regardless of where we finish.

“It’s two tricky games over the Easter weekend. The players stepped up last week, and put in a couple of fantastic performances and results to match. On and off the pitch the group seem in a good place. This has helped with the return of Ed Williams and Daniel Leadbitter being available, with also Kieran Phillips returning to training.

“Make some noise and let’s make this a successful Easter weekend.”

As it stands, there are still a few seats left on the Supporters Trust coach to Hanwell Town on Friday. It will depart the KMM Energy Stadium at 11am and is £20 for members and £25 for non-members. Message 07540 257 464 to book your seat

Meanwhile tickets for Monday’s return to home action are available here...
