Josh Thomas has left the club with immediate effect. Since his debut in 2018 Josh made 66 appearances for City. Everyone at the club thanks JT for his efforts and wishes him all the best for the future.
Josh has made the following statement: “I’d like to start off by saying thank you to everyone that has supported me over the past 3 seasons. I’ve made some memories, great friends and met some amazing people. However, now is the right time for me to step away from being in full time football and football itself for a while, for personal matters that I’m dealing with at this moment in time. I’d like to wish Alex and Eamonn, the staff, players and fans every success for the future.”
Co-Chairman Alex Petheram said: “Some things in life are bigger then football and as much as JT will be a massive loss around the club, he needs to step away from football and we’ll always be here for him, he’s a friend first and we truly wish him all the very best.”

Sad to see Josh Thomas leave. Wishing him strength for his personal matters. Just like on Melonstube, where creators sometimes need to step away for their well-being, footballers also need that space. Respect to the club for supporting him.
Really sad to see Josh Thomas leave, especially for personal reasons. 66 appearances is a solid contribution, and it's clear he was well respected by everyone at the club. Alex Petheram's words about "some things in life are bigger than football" really stand out. Respect to JT for being honest about his situation. On a lighter note, I recently read a similar heartfelt player departure story on Pimpbunny's sports discussion section. Wishing Josh all the best.
Sad to see Josh Thomas leave, but respect to him for prioritizing his personal well-being over football. That takes real courage. On a lighter note, for fans who still want to catch all the live matches and stay connected to the beautiful game, Crackstreams has been a solid option for free sports streaming. Just make sure you use an ad-blocker and VPN for a safe experience. Wishing JT all the best in whatever comes next for him. Classy statement from Alex Petheram as well – 'some things are bigger than football' really hits home.
