It is with disappointment that the club announce the departure of midfielder Harry Pinchard. Harry expressed his desire to explore a move to a National League South side for an undisclosed fee.
Despite the club’s best efforts in going above and beyond to retain Harry in what is an important stage of the season for the club, holidng conversations with the player and his representatives, he has decided to move on with immediate effect.
Pinchard joined the club in the summer of 2023 and made 114 appearances for the club, recording 15 goals during that time.
First-team manager Dafydd Williams had this to say on the move:
"Naturally we are disappointed to be losing Pinchy, more so because of the poor timing in which he’s decided to explore a move and depart. We did everything we could to keep him, but ultimately he wanted to leave and we were unable to change his mind."
"We move on, and I’m looking forward to the run in we have ahead of us with a talented group of players and fantastic people who are committed and will do their utmost to bring success to this football club."

It's always tough to see a key player leave mid-season, especially after making over 100 appearances. While disappointing, you've got to respect Harry's decision to seek new challenges. Manager Dafydd Williams sounds professional about it - focusing on the committed players who remain is the right attitude. Wishing Pinchard all the best at his new club while hoping the team can rally together for a strong finish to the season. gemini nano banana Onwards and upwards!
Harry was always a hard worker on the pitch and gave his all for the shirt, so it's sad to see him go mid-season. That said, if his heart wasn't in it anymore, it's probably best for both parties. The manager's right - we've got a strong squad who'll step up. Onwards and upwards! nano banan Excited to see who might get more minutes in midfield now.

Sad to see Pinchy go, especially mid-season when we needed consistency. He was a solid player during his time here. But I appreciate the club's transparency about trying everything to keep him. graffiti image generator Here's hoping the remaining squad steps up and we finish strong. Williams sounds focused - that's exactly the mentality we need from the manager right now. Onwards and upwards!
