Evander Grubb signs for City

Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Evander Grubb, who joins the Tigers following his departure from Salisbury FC.

The 22-year-old arrives at the KMM Energy Stadium with plenty of experience across the non-league pyramid, having previously represented the likes of Taunton Town, Tiverton Town, Bristol Manor Farm and Mousehole AFC.

Grubb began his senior career with Bristol Manor Farm, where he made national headlines as a teenager after becoming the youngest-ever goalscorer in FA Cup history at the time, scoring twice in a 5-1 victory over Cadbury Heath at just 16 years and 54 days old.

His performances earned him a move into the professional game, with Grubb spending time within the academies of Huddersfield Town and Newport County before continuing his development in senior football.

Grubb later returned to Bristol Manor Farm before joining Mousehole AFC and subsequently Salisbury FC. During the 2025/26 campaign, he also returned to Taunton Town on loan for the remainder of the season.

Following the mutual termination of his Salisbury contract earlier this month, Grubb now makes the move to GL2 as Daf Williams adds another attacking option to his squad.
