As Paul Groves’ City prepare to take on a Coventry City XI in our first home match of pre-season, the club would like to make supporters aware of match arrangements, especially as this will only be the second ever Men’s 1st Team game at New Meadow Park with supporters.
Following the move to Stage 4 of the Government’s Roadmap on easing restrictions, social distancing measures and the use of face coverings are no longer mandatory. However, there will be hand sanitising stations located around New Meadow Park, and we would encourage supporters to take a lateral flow test before travelling to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition, we would encourage the use of face coverings when entering and moving around the stadium, especially in enclosed areas such as toilets and the 1883 Bar. Anyone who displays COVID-19 should not travel to the game.
Tickets for both the Coventry City XI friendly and York City game in the Vanarama National League North remain on sale and can be purchased on the link https://www.gloucestersport.com/tickets. A ticket for the Coventry City friendly can be purchased at the gate also, but please use contactless payment.
Please note that as this is a pre-season friendly, season tickets will NOT be in use, all supporters attending must purchase a ticket.
Following the granting of our alcohol licence, the club are pleased to announce that alcohol can now be served and consumed around the ground, and the catering outlets will be open for supporters to purchase food.
Turnstiles will open at 13:30, and for tickets purchased in the T-End and City Stand, supporters are asked to enter via Gate A. For tickets purchased in the 1883, South and West Stands, supporters are asked to enter via Gate B.
Car parking space is limited at New Meadow Park, so we highly recommend planning your journey before arriving at the ground.
Finally, as this will be only the second Men’s 1st Team match at New Park, coupled with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that all attending are respectful and patient, as we all move towards the new season together.
