Former Republic of Ireland U-19 International defender Jack James joined City from National League South club Braintree Town. James was previously on the books of Luton Town and whilst with the Hatters spent two terms out on loan at Hitchin Town and Havant & Waterlooville. The young right-back played in all three qualifying games for the Republic of Ireland’s U19 2019 UEFA European Championship campaign facing Bosnia, the Faroe Islands and the Netherlands.
