One of Gloucester City’s top performers this season has been given a chance to impress at a Championship club.
Right-back Keiran Thomas is spending this week at Derby County and will play for their Under-23s at Luton Town on Tuesday afternoon.
Thomas, 20, is still under contract with the Tigers until the end of the 2017/18 season and manager Tim Harris says that the former Cinderford Town captain deserves his chance.
“Keiran has been outstanding for us this season and he’s caught the eye of Derby County as well as a whole number of other Football League clubs.
“He’s still under contract with us for next season so obviously if Derby take the option to sign him there will be a fee involved.”
