Gloucester City Under 18s will look to progress into the Second Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup this evening when they host Poole Town.\r\n\r\nThe Young Tigers reached this stage of the competition last year when they were knocked out by a very strong Bristol Rovers side, however Ken Blackburn and Neil Mustoe’s side will look to do better than last year this season.\r\n\r\nThe Under 18s were victorious 2-0 on the road at local rivals Bath City in the final qualifying round, and were handed a winnable home tie with Poole Town Under 18s as a reward.\r\n\r\nPoole Town are managed by former Tiger Marcus Browning, who made 18 appearances for City between 1989 and 1991.\r\n\r\nIt would be fantastic to see as many City fans down at Tuffley Rovers’ Glevum Park stadium to support the future generation of Gloucester City players and their sharp brand of attacking football that has seen them have so much success in recent years.\r\n\r\nKick-off is at 19:45, admission prices are £3 for adults and £2 for concessions (Under 16/Over 65).
