Another season in the Blue Square Bet North beckons for Gloucester City, with the publication of the provisional league listings.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAlthough the league isn’t officially ratified until after the Conference AGM, the listings have been published.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers will face new trips to Chester City and Bradford Park Avenue, both of whom have been promoted to the league, as well as a more familiar trip across the county border to Oxford City and Brackley. Meanwhile the expulsion of both Kettering and Darlington from the league has handed a reprieve to Hinckley United.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBoth Brackley and Oxford City are well known to the Tigers from their days in the Southern League with City last most recently facing Oxford City in a pre-season friendly last season and the Gaffer Dave Mehew said he’s pleased to gain another local(ish) derby.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHe said: “I’ve already had a few chats with the Oxford manager, I’ve told him he’ll love the league and the travelling isn’t that bad really.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n”We know what this league is about now and we will be looking to push on further next season, we know what we are capable of so its just a matter of delivering.”
