Gloucester City Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of striker Nick Wright from Conference North rivals Worcester City on non contract forms.\r\n\r\nWright, 27, started his career as a youngster at Birmingham City and went on to have loan spells at Bristol City and Northampton.\r\n\r\nThe 6 foot 2 inch striker also has considerable experience at Conference Premier level with Tamworth and Kidderminster Harriers and will add to our current striking options.\r\n\r\nWright has also played for Lincoln City and Mansfield and can play anywhere along the front line, where he can use his blistering pace to his advantage. He will be available for this Saturday’s clash with Solihull Moors.\r\n\r\nWe have released French striker Mo Diop. Manager Tim Harris said: “I am somewhat disappointed as Mo has ability and we would have liked to work with him longer to obtain the benefit of his talent. However in our current situation it was important to make this change when we knew Nick was available.”\r\n\r\nWe wish Mo all the best in his future roles and thank him for the time he gave us whilst at Gloucester City.
