The Management Board of Gloucester City Football Club met last night to consider the Stadium plans.\r\n\r\nSubject to some minor amendments, the management board have formally approved the plans and the club’s architect will now be instructed to finalise the plans in readiness for the formal planning application submission.\r\n\r\nGloucester City Football Club are in the throes of arranging a final clear down meeting with Paul James, the Leader of Gloucester City Council, and senior officers of the planning department, which we hope will take place over the next two weeks.\r\n\r\nWe are also able to report that good progress has been made on the draft Flood Risk Assessment which will be issued later today – this is a key document which will accompany the outline planning application.\r\n\r\nThe planning application will be in outline form because this allows Gloucester City Football Club to benefit from a ‘free go’ in terms of the planning application fee.\r\n\r\nA further update will be issued when the planning application has been submitted to Gloucester City Council.\r\n\r\nOnce submitted, the Club will display the plans for supporters to view, pass comment on and ask questions to club officials.
