Gloucester City will face Conference Premier outfit Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday 22nd July in a friendly at Whaddon Road.\r\n\r\nThe game will kick-off at 7.30pm and will be £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for under 18’s; with all Tigers season ticket holders allowed free entry also.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers had been scheduled to play Hereford United on that date.\r\n\r\nCity manager Tim Harris, who had a spell as Rovers boss a decade ago, would like to thank Forest Green’s Adie Pennock for helping the Tigers out at such a late stage.\r\n\r\n“I am pleased we have eventually arranged another pre season fixture after the cancellation of the Hereford United fixture,” explained Harris.\r\n\r\n“I would personally like to thank Adie Pennock and Forest Green Rovers for helping us out at such short notice and look forward to seeing a good turn-out at Cheltenham on Tuesday evening.”
