Gloucester City’s reward for beating Boreham Wood on Saturday will be another trip to a Conference South side, this time play-off contenders Ebbsfleet United in the FA Trophy First Round.\r\n\r\nEbbsfleet, who play at Stonebridge Road, currently sit sixth in the Skrill South; a real test for Dave Mehew and his players.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers have already dispatched two Southern teams in FA competitions so far this season, along with Boreham Wood, City also knocked Havant and Waterlooville out of the FA Cup.\r\n\r\nThe tie, that is due to take place at 3pm on November 30th, will be the first meeting between the two sides since 1997, when the Kent outfit were known as Gravesend and Northfleet.\r\n\r\nThat meeting saw City win 3-1, with Dale Watkins and a brace from Adie Mings sealing the three points in the Southern League Premier Division.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
