Gloucester City Football Club and Tyger Productions have combined to raise a superb £203 for the Teckels Animal Sanctuaries in Whitminster.\r\n\r\nDuring the run of their Pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at the King’s Theatre, Gloucester, Tyger Productions generously ran a Raffle and devoted the proceeds to the local animal charity.\r\n\r\nThe club, also known as the Tigers, decided to help step in and offered a signed football autographed by the entire Gloucester City first team squad that was won by Debbie Wall of Longlevens.\r\n\r\nRowena Davies, the director of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ was immensely grateful to the club for their support.\r\n\r\n’I would like to thank Gloucester City for all their help in achieving this, and I wish them well in their search for a new home, and I hope the dogs and cats at Teckels all find loving homes soon.’\r\n\r\nGeorge Latham, the Vice-Chairman of Teckels accepted the cheque from Teddy the Tyger, the mascot of Tyger Productions, on Wednesday evening, alongside Davies.\r\n\r\nFor City’s Skrill North fixture against Altrincham on December 10th, every spectator were given a draw ticket for a chance of winning two free tickets to see the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ production, which were collected by Dr. Bob Byrne.
