Striker Jack Pitcher last night signed forms for Gloucester City.
But the 29-year-old is not rushing back into the fold, instead the popular forward who left the club in 2010 has simply signed as cover.
He will continue to play for Winterbourne Utd but is available to the Tigers if needed.
Manager Dave Mehew said: “With a small squad such as ours I need to be able to fill gaps if we get players injured.
“Jack has played in the Blue Square North before and although he’s playing several leagues below with Winterbourne he would still be able to do a job for us if he’s needed.
“But the fans shouldn’t expect to see him in the squad week in week out, he’s just helping us out with cover if we need him.”
