Gloucester City striker Scott Wilson has joined Southern Premier League side Paulton Rovers on loan, with view to a permanent move.\r\n\r\nIn three spells at the club, Wilson has netted 10 times in 51 appearances and leaves as part of the restructuring of the Tigers squad by manager Tim Harris.\r\n\r\nHe will not be able to participate against the Tigers in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round fixture on September 27th.\r\n\r\nHarris has been in negotiations with Wilson for the last ten days with several clubs interested in the young striker, but the 21-year-old concluded evening that Paulton Rovers gives him the best opportunity.\r\n\r\nHarris commented: “In the summer Scott was keen to return to the club and I welcomed the opportunity to work with him, however he needs to establish himself, play regularly and perform consistently.”\r\n\r\n“I am sure if he can add this to his game he will eventually become a force at this level and we all wish him well.”
