A 94th minute winner from Scott Wilson sealed Gloucester City a sensational win against Leamington.\r\n\r\nThe home side absolutely bombarded the Tigers goal throughout the game, but Wilson calmly poked home in stoppage time to send the travelling supporters into raptures.\r\n\r\nBrakes goalkeeper Tony Breeden hit the crossbar and along with numerous headers and shots City stood firm before nicking it late.\r\n\r\nIt was the hosts that exploded out the blocks with numerous chances in the opening minutes, including striker Lee Moore blasting over from inside the six yard box.\r\n\r\nThe Brakes continued accelerating with pace and after a lovely team move found right back James Mace who smashed over the bar from range, quickly followed by Liam Daly forcing a save down low from Mike Green.\r\n\r\nIt was City’s turn in an exciting opening when Lewis Hogg’s knockdown found Darren Mullings’ who forced a strong save from goalkeeper Tony Breeden.\r\n\r\nAfter a period of inactivity, Mace burst down the wing to find Elliott Sandy in the boz but Green was more than a match to his header.\r\n\r\nGreen was made the work again seconds after with Stefan Moore pouncing in the area, but the keeper’s point blank save denied the former Aston Villa man.\r\n\r\nAs the second half began the Brakes continued their assault with Matt Dodd testing Mike Green, followed by Sam Rawlings clearing off the line after a flick from the midfielder in the next attack.\r\n\r\nThe introduction of Scott Wilson saw a new impotus in the City side but only half chances peppered the Leamington goal, whereas the home side was still looking dangerous with every attack.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers kept on coming and after a dangerous Hogg corner, Mullings’ header blasted into the side netting, this was quickly followed by Jamie Edge playing through Edwards but the ball trickled inches wide.\r\n\r\nIn a bizarre moment, goalkeeper Breeden struck the crossbar after a long punt forward after hesitation from Green.\r\n\r\nChance after chance came for the Brakes, but Mullings’ sprinted down the right and found Hogg in the middle, only for Breeden to produce a world class save.\r\n\r\nThen after yet another effort for the home side, City broke forward and slotted through Wilson to poke home a wonderful winner.\r\n\r\nLeamington: T.
