Date: Saturday 12 March 2016\r\n\r\nCompetition: Vanarama National League North\r\n\r\nKick-Off: 15:00\r\n\r\nLocation: Edgeley Park, Stockport\r\n\r\nGloucester City visit the fallen giants of the Football League when they travel to Edgeley Park to face Stockport County tomorrow.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers played out a 2-2 draw with Hednesford Town in their last outing, but will be disappointed having twice taken the lead through Joe Parker and Omari Sterling-James.\r\n\r\nJoe Parker was injured in that game, leaving City with no fit strikers in the squad with Luke Hopper and Bobbie Dale also out injured.\r\n\r\nHowever, Tim Harris has moved to bolster his attacking options this week with the signing of Colby Bishop from Notts County on a one month’s loan.\r\n\r\nHarris said “I would like to thank Rich Dryden (reserve team manager) and Guy Branston (head of recruitment) at Notts County for making the move possible.”\r\n\r\nSpeaking to the Gloucester Citizen ahead of the visit to Edgeley Park, Harris spoke of his pleasure at seeing Calvin Dinsley return to action in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday.\r\n\r\n“The most pleasing part was seeing Calvin Dinsley come through nearly an hour because he had a foot problem, came back and then broke down again, so to see him back is great because the boy has a lot of talent.”\r\n\r\nStockport sit 11th in the National League North table, just one place and three points ahead of the Tigers and a win for City will go a long way to solidifying their ambition of a top half finish.\r\n\r\nThe opponents:\r\n\r\nTo read more on the chequered history of our opponents, visit Stockport’s Wikipedia page.\r\n\r\nTeam news: \r\n\r\nJoe Parker has suffered ankle ligament damage and will be out of action for between four and six weeks.\r\n\r\nCalvin Dinsley will return to the squad after playing nearly an hour in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday night.\r\n\r\nLuke Hopper will also make his return to the squad following over a month out with an ankle injury.\r\n\r\nTom Webb is unavailable for the trip to Edgeley Park, but Sam Avery and Robbie Cundy will both come back into the squad after missing last Saturday’s visit of Hednesford Town.
