Staines Town v Gloucester City

\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDate: Saturday 11th October, 2014\r\nCompetition: FA Cup Third Qualifying Round\r\nVenue: Wheatsheaf Park\r\nKick-off: 3pm\r\n\r\nOpponents: Formed in 1892, they were founder members of the Hellenic League in 1953, and joined the Isthmian League in 1973.\r\n\r\nStaines won approval for a new stadium, Wheatsheaf Park in 2000, groundsharing at local rivals Walton and Hersham and Egham Town before moving to their new home in 2003.\r\n\r\nThe Swans won promotion to the Conference in the same year we did, experiencing Conference football for the first time in 2009-10, finishing a respectable eighth.\r\n\r\nStaines have a very reputable FA Cup heritage in recent years, reaching the FA Cup First Round on five occasions, notably beating Stockport County in a replay in 2007, beating Shrewsbury Town 1-0 away in 2009 before drawing 0-0 with Millwall at Wheatsheaf Park, losing the replay 4-1.\r\n\r\nHistory: The Tigers have only met Staines Town once before, in an FA Trophy First Round tie at Meadow Park, winning 5-0.\r\n\r\nTeam news: The only certainty is Jack Harris still being out with his knee injury, apart from that, Tim Harris has a full strength side to hopefully make this week even more memorable for the club.\r\n\r\nYou’ll be able to catch all of the action from Wheatsheaf Park on Twitter (@GCAFCofficial) and Facebook (GCAFCofficial).
