\r\nDate: Tuesday 16th September 2014\r\nCompetition: Friendly\r\nVenue: Recreation Ground, Lydney\r\nKick-off: 7.30pm\r\n\r\nOpponents: Formed in 1911, Lydney Town have spent the majority of their history in the local Gloucestershire leagues.\r\n\r\nIn 2006, they won the Gloucestershire County League and were promoted to the Hellenic League for the first time.\r\n\r\nThe club will be opening a brand new stand against Gloucester City this evening.\r\n\r\nHistory: We’ve only played Lydney Town once in a friendly before, in 2001 where a joint Gloucester City/Gloucester United side won 5-3 at the Recreation Ground.\r\n\r\nTeam news: The Tigers will be fielding a strong line-up this evening with Lewis Hogg seeing his first action since his knee injury picked up against Bristol Rovers in pre-season.\r\n\r\nNew signings Nathan Modest, George Miller and loanee goalkeeper Paul White will all make their Tigers debuts this evening.\r\n\r\nYou’ll be able to catch full coverage of  Lydney Town v Gloucester City  on on Twitter (@GCAFCofficial) and Facebook (GCAFCofficial) from 7.15pm tonight.
