\r\nDate: Saturday 5 October, 2013\r\nCompetition: Skrill North\r\nVenue: Keys Park\r\nKick-off: 3pm\r\n\r\nOpponents: Formed in 1880, the club has spent much of its history in the lower echelons of non-league football.\r\n\r\nThey joined the Southern League in 1984 and were promoted to its Premier Division seven years later, a season that also saw the club reached the Welsh Cup final, losing to Cardiff City.\r\n\r\nIn 1994-95 the Pitmen were promoted to the Football Conference and moved to the fantastic Keys Park stadium, they ended up finishing 3rd in the division; their highest ever league placing.\r\n\r\nOver the next couple of years they enjoyed great FA Cup runs, reaching the Fourth Round proper before losing away to Middlesbrough and beating Hull City the following year; however poor league form saw them relegated for the first time.\r\n\r\nThey won the FA Trophy in 2004, and were promoted to the Conference North, but relegation occurred again and it took until 2013 for the club to bounce back; where they currently sit top after 10 games.\r\n\r\nForm Guide: The Pitmen have enjoyed a brilliant start to their league and cup campaigns, reeling off a fantastic 3-1 away win in the FA Cup against rivals AFC Telford United, they are also top of the division after securing 22 points from 27 available. They also have a 100% home record.\r\n\r\nRecent form – WLWWWW\r\n\r\nHistory: Saturday will be the first meeting between Hednesford Town and Gloucester City since 2005, where the Tigers lost heavily 4-1 at Keys Park.
