Gloucester City v Harrogate Town
\r\n \r\n\r\nDate: Sunday 9th November 2014\r\nCompetition: Vanarama North\r\nVenue: Whaddon Road\r\nKick-off: 3pm\r\n\r\nOpponents: Harrogate Town were formed in 1914, but only started climbing the pyramid in 1935, spending much of their existence in the local Yorkshire leagues until becoming founder members of the Northern Counties League in 1982, and Northern Premier League in 1988.\r\n\r\nThe club became inaugural members of Conference North in 2004, after finishing fifth in the Northern Premier League, and have stayed their ever since (despite finishing bottom in 2010, due to Northwich’s financial issues).\r\n\r\nHarrogate achieved their finest ever FA Cup performance in 2012-13, losing out to Hastings Town in the Second Round.\r\n\r\nHistory: Harrogate Town have been one of the ever-present sides in the Conference North since the Tigers have been in the division, although it is the Yorkshire side with the marginally better record in the battle of the yellow and black teams.\r\n\r\nThe last meeting was a brilliant 5-2 victory for the resurgent Tigers at Whaddon Road.\r\n\r\nTeam news: Joe Parker suffered a broken wrist in the 3-0 victory over Lowestoft Town, so will not be available on Sunday.\r\n\r\nGoalscorer Harry White is expected to secure a starting berth, with Charlie Griffin looking to be back after an illness.\r\n\r\nIt’s also good news for club captain Jack Harris, who is now back in training after being out for the first few months of the season.\r\n\r\nYou’ll be able to catch all of the action from Whaddon Road on Twitter (@GCAFCofficial) and Facebook (GCAFCofficial).
