Date: Saturday March 14th 2015\r\nCompetition: Vanarama Conference North\r\nVenue: Whaddon Road, Cheltenham\r\nKick-off: 3pm\r\n\r\nGloucester City host Boston United at home on Saturday as they look to pull themselves clear of the Vanarama Conference North relegation zone.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers currently sit just 1 place above the drop zone in 19th place, but with a comfortable 5 point gap to next Saturday’s opponents Stalybridge Celtic.\r\n\r\nCity go into the game off the back of a 2-1 away loss to mid-table Harrogate, a place we’ve never won at, and a 7-1 home loss to Oxford City.\r\n\r\nBoston United have picked up 9 points from their last 5 games, including an excellent 5-2 victory at home to Harrogate. United currently sit 6th in the Conference North table, 5 points behind the last play-off spot.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers will be hoping to end of 4 straight defeats to Boston in the Conference North, the last time City beat the Lincolnshire was a 1-0 home victory in December 2012 with Steve Davies getting the only goal that night.\r\n\r\nTeam news:\r\n\r\nClub Captain Jack Harris is to have a scan on his troublesome knee following the injury he received at Harrogate that restricted him to 40 minutes.\r\n\r\nIt looks like the same problem that had kept him out for the first half of the season and we will await the results though it is highly likely if it’s what we think it is he will not play again this season and may require an operation.\r\n\r\nGeorge Miller had the operation last week on his ankle which went very well and we can only hope the rehabilitation goes well and we see him again before the end of this campaign.\r\n\r\nNew loan signings Harry Williams and James Bowen will be available for selection after signing from landlords Cheltenham Town.\r\n\r\nWe are hopeful Tom Webb will be available after his recent illness as he gets every closer to another milestone appearance.\r\n\r\nYou’ll be able to catch all of the action from Whaddon Road on Twitter (@GCAFCofficial) and Facebook (GCAFCofficial) from 2.45pm tomorrow afternoon. You can listen to live radio coverage on Severn Sport Radio on and on the TuneIN Radio smartphone app.\r\n\r\nGloucester City’s media coverage is sponsored by Baylis Motors.
