Gloucester City and Cheltenham Town have completed a deal to keep the Tigers at Whaddon Road for a fourth consecutive season.\r\n\r\nTigers chairman Nigel Hughes signed the deal this afternoon along with his Robins counterpart Paul Baker.\r\n\r\nThe club have been sharing at the Abbey Business Stadium since 2010 and have maintained a great relationship with the club’s landlords despite recent complication with payments.\r\n\r\nHowever, this debt has now been paid off and the club can look forward to yet another season in the Blue Square Bet North after the groundshare was approved by the Football Conference.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers are currently on course for a top half finish, their best ever in the Conference system.\r\n\r\nGloucester City chairman Hughes was thrilled to finally complete the deal: “It’s been a tough month, but after all the positivity in recent days, it is great to confirm that our partnership with Cheltenham Town will continue for a fourth year.\r\n\r\n“I get on very well with Paul [Baker], and I knew it was only a matter of time before we could sort the deal out.\r\n\r\n“It is a deal that is good to both clubs and hopefully will see our co-operation flourish over the coming year.”
