The Sporting Evening with England cricketing legend and TV personality Phil Tufnell has now sold out.\r\n\r\nThe setting for this fantastic evening in the company of one of England’s most loved sporting heroes will be the glorious Hatherley Manor Hotel, Down Hatherley Lane, Gloucester.\r\n\r\nCharismatic and controversial, Phil Tufnell is the former England cricket bowler with a talent for spinning the ball on the field and getting in trouble off it.\r\n\r\nOne of the most talented English spinners of his generation, Tufnell mastered the art of bowling the slow left-arm spin at Southgate club in north London.\r\n\r\nNicknamed ‘The Cat’ for his ability to sleep anytime, anywhere, Tufnell made his debut for Middlesex in 1986.The evening will be hosted by the fabulous comedian Owen Money.\r\n\r\nIt was here that he developed a reputation for being a cricketer with big talent. He was occasionally in trouble for missing practice or minor matches and once missed a game when shopping for a fridge instead.\r\n\r\nThis hilarious and amazing Welshman has won the Comedian of the Year award and performed alongside the likes of Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones.
