Gloucester City Football Club would like to thank all those who applied for the advertised role of performance analyst over the last few weeks.
We are pleased to announce that we have hired 22 year-old Luke Brick to take up the position.
Luke studied Performance Analysis as an undergraduate and is currently studying for a Masters degree in the subject at Cardiff Met.
Luke has previously worked for clubs at the highest level of the English game, with Premier League club Southampton and Championship side Bristol City both using his knowledge of the game to enhance their performance.
Speaking to gloucestercityafc.com, Luke said that living in Gloucester played a big role in applying for the position.
“I’ve known about the club for a while now, everyone’s heard the stories about the flooding and the exile and whatnot.
“But what really struck a chord with me was the ambition of the club and where the people working behind the scenes want to take the club moving forward.”
We would like to wish Luke every success in his new role with the club and extend our gratitude to every applicant for the position.
