The Club are pleased to report that the Flood Risk Consultants have now completed the flood evaluation work which has involved extensive modelling and technical assessment.\r\n\r\nAll of the flood modelling results have been carefully considered and evaluated and the Flood Risk Consultants believe that the Club can demonstrate that their amended scheme would not cause any additional flood impact impact to third party buildings.\r\n\r\nHaving completed this key piece of work, the Flood Risk Consultants will be formally submitting their report to the Environment Agency for their consideration.\r\n\r\nThe Club’s Flood Risk Consultants will be liasing closely with the Environment Agency and we hope to be in a position to provide a further update towards the end of November.\r\n\r\nGloucester City chairman Nigel Hughes is happy with the news as the club comes one step closer to a return to the city.\r\n\r\n”This is good news after such a long period of time,” Hughes said.\r\n\r\n”We hope that the report will be well received by the Environmental Agency and that we can then focus on resubmitting the planning application.”\r\n\r\n”It is imperative that we get some good news soon as it would give such a big boost to our long suffering supporters.”
