Gloucester City face Slimbridge AFC in their sixth pre-season friendly this evening, but Tigers boss Tim Harris will be without two midfielders for the trip to Thornhill Park.
Club captain Tom Webb, who is closing in on 700 appearances for the Tigers, will miss the game due to an ankle injury picked up against Newport County on Saturday.
Darren Mullings is also unavailable for the friendly against the Swans and Chris Knowles, who is recovering from surgery in the off-season, is expected to return in four to six weeks.
Karnell Chambers will return to the squad after missing Saturday’s defeat to Newport County with tonsillitis.
Eliot Richards, who has been training with the Tigers and been involved in pre-season, will not be signing with the club due to personal reasons.
Harris had been “reasonably confident” of signing the former Bristol Rovers man, but he also noted how “personal reasons would dictate whether or not he signs for Gloucester City”.
The other midfielders in City’s squad include Reece King, Ed Williams, Joe Hanks and George Forsyth.
Kick-off at Thornhill Park is 19:45 and admission is £6 Adults, £4 Concessions and U16s free.
